Birthday Barn Bash

The girls attended a barn bash celebrating two of their friend's birthdays last weekend. Families were invited as well and they had a great turn out. The barn looked great all decorated with twinkling white lights. It was supposed to be semi-formal and some were really dressed up. Some wore more casual attire too. Entertainment was provided by CD's but also fiddle player extraordinaire, Joey, and his accompanist, Mike. I don't have a good picture to share.......Bob and I snuck out about halfway through for a "date" (we went to see Inception with Leonardo Decaprio and I REALLY liked it), but we returned later. Below are some pictures of the festivities.
Two of Farmer Girl's best friends sharing cake and relaxing on a hay bale.
Farmer Girl dancing with Lizzy all about the barn.
The Scribbler also with Lizzy, relaxing between dancing.
Farmer Girl acting silly with friends.
Dancing in the barn........amidst the twinkling lights.

They were calling themselves the Terribly Tall Twins as they are both VERY tall and they were dressed in identical dresses. They looked a bit different as Farmer Girl wore leggings too.

Farmer Girl is growing up. She looked quite mature this evening and even wore some mascara and lip gloss.
Everybody enjoying some group dancing and instruction in the early hours.

More friends and siblings too!

Being wacky with friends at the end of an enjoyable evening.

My friends and I weren't feeling so wacky at the end of the evening. Here we are enjoying the entertainment of watching our girls and guys dancing around, being silly and generally enjoying one another's company. The evening ended around midnight and we were off to bed-a welcome respite.

Good night, Ellie~
