As we learned how to use the rope tow, there were many opportunities for going up and coming back down again. Some of us caught on quicker than others and some of us (most of us except Farmer Girl) had all ready been on skis or snowboards at one point in the past. So, naturally, some of us were better at coming down and, thus, spent less time hauling ourselves up from falling!
| She is a good example of less falling, more skiing |
A quick smile as she headed off to the chairlift.
Enough of this BUNNY slope! |
| Others learning to ski with lessons. Aren't they cute? |
| Upright...... |
| ....but only momentarily. |
| A bit more steady on her board, she managed to stay up on the turns. |
| Look at her go! |
| Look at her fall! |
| Coming down fast, she needed to turn.... |
| Manuevering the turn as taught |
| Correcting herself |
| Smashing into an innocent bystander. |
| Bouncing mid fall |
| Love this shot! |
| Showing us how it is done. |
| Trying to do the same. |
| Finally, getting the hang of it. |
| Until here! |
| She didn't get up right away this time. She hurt her knee. Breaktime, perhaps? |
| Close up shots of intense concentration. |
| Time for the chairlift! |
