Bob Schulz of Our Town

Recently, our home school group had a potluck and presentation night. I was amazed at the amount of talent we have within our group and we were so blessed by their sharing!  Our emcee for the night was Mr. G, who entertained us with stories of Bob Schulz, a famous man right here in our little town. Each time he spoke, he further told us of this infamous man who knew a Seattle Mariner, Dr Dobson, George Bush and even the Pope............to name only a few. He almost had us convinced that it was all true.....well some of us were almost convinced. It has always been said that I am gullible :)  He did a great job.

We enjoyed skits, musical interludes and singing throughout the evening. Below is one dad who is multi- talented with singing, playing guitar and song writing. His children entertained us with piano playing as well.

Daniel provided many laughs with his juggling, yo-yo-ing and other tricks. I love the hat.
These four beautiful  children sang for us about the possibilities in each and everyone of us. They were adorable.
Daniel and his band once again entertained us with music and songs he had written. What an amazingly talented guy!
In a skit, the same little ones as above bustled around in their busy-ness and in their self absorbed world, reminding us how important it is to stop and remember the reason for the season. They ended the skit by gathering around the lovely Mary holding baby Jesus. Their father led us in singing a beautiful rendition of "O Holy Night." It was a wonderful way to end the evening.
I am all ready looking forward to next quarters evening of presentations and potluck.
Ellie~
