Madrid, Insignia and Burritos to Go!

Intermediate Band
On Christmas Day at the Windhaven Celebration, a Christmas Air and Dance was held. Good King Wenceslas along with Jolly Old St. Nicholas went, singing Jingle Bells, across the Coldwater Crossing. Once Over the Rainbow, they received an Insignia on their Burritos to Go and hitched a ride with a Hay Burner to Madrid. And, that was our concert program in a nutshell!
Farmer Girl playing trombone all the way in the back. It's always hard to get a good picture of her there!

Advanced Band

Advanced Band Percussion Section. The Scribbler is hidden by the music stand.

Our very dedicated and talented band director introducing our Jazz Ensemble II, affectionately known as Baby Jazz. He was telling a story about our  bass player and her sunglasses and was in an exceptionally happy mood..

BABY Jazz

A close up of Farmer Girl making a face at me because of my picture taking.

Our very cool Bass player. Don't you think they should all wear sunglasses?

A better shot of Farmer Girl and friends

Advanced Jazz in purple and teal on black. Once again The Scribbler, lead jazz drummer on set, is hidden behind cymbals and a music stand.
It was a lovely concert. This band always amazes me with their talent and their dedication.  They have a wonderfully dedicated band director who sets the bar that they often surpass. It is amazing to see what they can achieve.
