Sight and Sound Theatre

We had the amazing opportunity to go to this theatre in Strasburg, Pennsylvania while on our trip. We offered the oppoprtunity to others, but with the Broadway production, our band director thought it would be too much in time and cost. My mom had been here many times to see Noah and others. She highly recommended it, but I, also, came very close to not going due to money circumstances. My girls, in their fervent desire to go, offered to pay their own way, which allowed me to reconsider. Having gone to this theatrical experience, I have no regrets. My words cannot do it justice. Below is their mission and they do it in an amazing way. They present their story and then offer the gospel and prayer to those in the audience, who desire to take that next step. If you ever have the opportunity to take your family to this theatre, please do so. They are also located in Branson, Missouri. My girls are all ready conspiring to go there to see Noah!

Below you will find some more information as well as some pictures taken outside the theatre. We went here for the afternoon matinee after shopping. It was a cool and dreary day and a fantastic way to stay warm inside.  Even after going to Broadway, my girls say they enjoyed this more! I only wish others had come and enjoyed it too. I am so glad we splurged!

Our Name

The name "Sight & Sound" was inspired by the teaching of Jesus found in Matthew 13:10-23. The disciples asked Jesus why he spoke to the people in parables or stories. Jesus replied that even though people were seeing, they did not really see. Even though they were hearing, they did not truly hear or understand what they heard.
It is our goal to visualize and dramatize Biblical truth through live stage productions - to illustrate truth in the same way that Jesus did, by storytelling. Our desire is that our audience will gain clear understanding and inspiration through these presentations, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and deepen their relationship with our Father through Him.

Our Mission

Our purpose is to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ and sow the Word of God into the lives of our customers, guests, and fellow workers by visualizing and dramatizing the scriptures, through inspirational productions, encouraging others and seeking always to be dedicated and wise stewards of our God-given talents and resources.

Outside the building after the show.

....and the other side......

....and the middle with the Lion and the Lamb.

Farmer Girl bought a shirt that says, "What dream did God give you?"

The Scribbler bought the soundtrack which is simply amazing and a keychain with their mission statement on it.

Perhaps you will enjoy a bit of the soundtrack......However, I could not get it to load so you can check out their website to learn and HEAR more about it!

God bless, Ellie~
