Almost home. almost home.......our day in NYC was lengthy and the trip was too. We were exhausted and ready to leave around 8 PM but plans had been made to pick us up around 10 PM. We had also planned on going to the Metropolitan Art Museum via subway, but the brain cells involved in planning that were more than most of could spare so we opted to stay close to Times Square.
After enjoying pizza and smoothies, we walked around well lit Times Square, enjoying the sights, sound, and smells of NYC at night. It was so well lit that it didn't seem very dark or late at all.

| Starbuck's Mermaid (the original Starbuck's is in our neck of the woods) |
| Being silly, looking like tourists, in the middle of the road while crossing it! |
| Alot (most?) of the billboards changed between different advertisements as you watched them. There was one place where you could go in, pay, and get your face on one....Banana Republic? |
| Love this shot! |
| Some of New York City's finest (in the back row :)) |
| This Toys R Us had a ferris wheel in the center! It was a HUGE place! |
| Farmer Girl in the life size Barbie house. |
| The Scribbler liked this one! |
| Outside again. I didn't feel scared at all although I thought I would amongst the crowds. |
| An amazing M & M store. EVERY color and more! |
| Brand new Broadway play getting rave reviews. |
| We relaxed on these stairs passing the time and waiting on the rest of our group. |
| Seemed like the place to be! |
| We had considered the Cold Stone Creamery for an ice cream, but decided on this local eatery for "concretes". By waiting until later, we had missed the ginormous dinner crowd out the door. They were wonderful and I wished we had eaten dinner here too. The burgers and fries looked yummy. |
| See? I was really on this trip too! |
| Playing cards on the stairs of Times Square! An interesting activity for this locale! |
| Throwbacks to Forest Gump. A movie with wonderful lines, but not so much good for children to watch. |
Later, as time grew close for us to catch our bus, we waited with friends at the pick up spot and enjoyed this entertaining man playing some catchy tunes on his.....drums? We had great fun with friends in Times Square. Thanks for hanging out with us!
