My husband does nothing in small measures. He loves to cook and when offered the opportunity to cook a going away to college dinner for our friend's daughter, he jumped at the chance to try some new recipes as well as old favorites. The guest of honor chose Thai food and the preparation began. He began early in the day with all the chopping for the entrees and the rolling of the homemade eggrolls.
We don't often get the homemade ones and they never last long because they are so delicious.

Before frying.....approximately two a piece!

Spicy Cashew Chicken-My favorite.

The Guest of Honor and her dad

Amidst the chaos. Don't mess with a man and his knife!

I wish I had taken more pictures!  I meant to get each and every entree as well as the soup. It was all very delicious. Once the food started getting done, mouths were watering and all thoughts of photos fled! :)
It was fun to have her and her family over one last time before she headed off to college. We expect we will still see her this year although not as often as before. Her college is two hours away which is a lot of further than ten minutes! It was a blessing to share this with her and we know she will be a blessing to those around her at college as she has been to all of us here.

Please know you will be missed each and every day, but we pray God's blessing on your new journey!
We love you!
