First Stop

First day, we drove over 900 miles!!! Most of it was all areas that we have visited or lived in so we didn't feel the need to stop or sightsee. Being so close to our home, we can always do another time anyway.
The next day was not so long as we only wanted to stay close to our sightseeing destination in the morning. Arriving in early afternoon, we had some time to sightsee in a park that we have visited in the past, Zion National Park. If you have never been there, I would highly recommend it. We have been to many national parks and this is one of my favorites. For this added visit, we entered the west entrance and only had a five mile drive into the park to sightsee. It was lovely and the pictures do not do it justice. It was a relaxing way to spend the afternoon after being in the car for two days. We did a hike at the end of the road, but our Farmer Girl was worried about snakes and spiders most of the time!

We saw many of these!

At the end of the trail.

Along the trail.
We could see the rim of the Grand Canyon!
Next day, we are headed into Bryce Canyon-one National Park we haven't done in this area. We are looking forward to it as many have told us it is their favorite. We will see......and share our photos soon! (finding wi-fi has been a bit difficult along the way.....)
