The Scribbler had her wisdom teeth taken out this week. She was a trooper. She was worried about how she might react to the drugs and anesthesia. She told us not to let her be silly. However, she was more teary eyed than funny :) It didn't take long at all. She was ushered into the room around 10 AM and was done before 11! The entire procedure took about 40 minutes for the removal of all four of them. Her dad took her home to recuperate. Here she is lying on the couch icing her swollen jaws with frozen corn (they maneuver better than ice packs). She had minimal swelling and bleeding although it took until today for her pain to subside almost completely. The thing that bothered her the most was noise that caused vibrating so she couldn't go to band and play drums or do much walking of the dog. She said it felt weird not to be able to do things when the only thing that hurt was her jaw! here she is below with her silly, swollen up grin. (it hurt to laugh and grin too much) Isn't she cute?

Love, Ellie~
