Class of 20!!

This shot, the best and favorite of many, was on our cover.

On a lovely day in late April, 13 graduates (one of the 14 were missing) and their families descended upon a local park for a group photoshoot. It was a lovely day, especially for this time of year. The photographer, the sister-in-law of one of the parents, obliged us with single shots as well. We began with The Graduate, aka The Scribbler, capturing some shots on the bridge that were some of our favorites.

Later as the group arrived en masse, we gathered in the gazebo for some shots. We have 5 guys and 9 girls in this year's graduating class.
The shot below was my absolute favorite (well, except for the upcoming bunker shot.....). I LOVED how everyone was just standing in their own spot doing their own thing. You will see this shot again later :)
This was just for fun since they are leaving their childhood behind. Couldn't see The Graduate very well though.
I liked this shot but the lighting was off with some in the sun and some in the bright sun. We couldn't have had a better day for weather and lighting. It was gourgeous.
Another bit of fun on the swings. Everyone was getting tired, but soon after this, they changed into more casual clothes and headed to the beach.
By this time, everyone was tired and windblown. The lighting was still a bit harsh here and it was very windy. The above bunker shot (at the very top) was taken earlier and thus they were in better spirits and out of the wind and bright light.

She did, however, get this great shot of the Graduate, which some of you may recognize as we used it on some of her announcements. The lighting was better as the day wore on.
These shots at the rowboat were exceptionally good and some of my favorites. By now, many of the graduates had left or had gotten tired of the picture taking. I wish we had been able to get all of them here at this spot. This is a wonderful one and I am glad we got one of The Graduate and her very dear friend that you all must recognize as she stars in many of my posts!

Here she is again in another lovely shot with her dad. So sweet.
After all the picture taking, many of us had a picnic dinner on the beach and shared birthday cake with the above's sister who turned 17 on this day. It was fun to share her special day with her as we have shared many other special and fun times in the past.
Now you have been introduced to the Class of 20!!.
Stay tuned for more.
Ellie~
