Well, not really conquering them, but perhaps facing them? ....I still don't like to go on the roof, but at least I tried it and can say, when I am old and feeble, I was once on the roof! :) The reason for the look of panic is that just as I stretched out to lay flat, the board beneath my feet moved and changed position. Quite scary. I enjoyed the view while up there, but the getting down was not fun. Gutterdawg just runs around up there, nimbly like cat. I think I could walk while on the flatter dormers, but could never get up there to check it out! :) More on progress this weekend.
