Wow, three posts in only one day! I think I have gotten out of the habit of posting, but have so many things to share so prepare yourself for many more to come!
Farmer Girl was in a government class this year at band. It was a continuation of a previous class on American history from last year. She has learned so much from a very motivated and encouraging teacher, a good friend of mine, LyJa (not her real name, of course :)). LyJa loves to teach and her love of teaching and of God shines through in all she does. We are very lucky to have her teaching our children. Thanks, LyJa.
Anyway, Farmer Girl wanted to celebrate the end of classes (and all she learned about the Constitution and the Bill of Rights) and the end of the year with a cake. She is always looking for a reason to bake a cake! So, here it is. She worked long and hard on it (so did I due to her many other committments) BUT the design and finish was all hers. OK, sister did help with coloring the scroll and shaping it too. It was very yummy to eat too.
