Bob

Our entire mission group met for the first time yesterday. There are about 30 of us going-18 from our local community. We joined the sponsoring church for their service yesterday and were prayed over by the church body. We enjoyed some incredible worship time and an amazing testimony from a man regarding forgiveness. After hearing his story, I would be ashamed to say I could not or would not forgive someone for a small slight done to me. His story was truly a journey of carrying a burden of bitterness and anger against a man called Bob and then releasing it by letting go of his anger through God's promptings, but then God asked him to pray for that man, forgive that man and seek him out so he could talk to him of God's grace, mercy and forgiveness available to all of us. And, oh, what freedom he found when he did that and what freedom we can all find when we release our burdens! Do you have a Bob in your life? Are you ready to let go and let God?
